I use this battery to power my Nexdome rotator system. It has been perfect for the job, no problems and runs all night. I have checked the power usage and it maintains a consistent supply. It may appear expensive but you will buy two three or four batteries with other technology before this one dies plus you don't have to worry about totally draining the battery and ruining it as you can with other technologies. Yes the flap comes off, no big deal if necessary you can still use it.

Power cuts off randomly, ruining my alignment and i have to start again. If i just leave my mount tracking it will work forever but as soon as the mount reverses direction like during GO-TO or the initial alignment the power shuts down. Also the 2 USB ports cannot be used at the same time as the 12V DC output, it can only supply power to one port at a time. The flip-up dust cover permanently came off (some plastic bits broke) after my second time using this.
Never buy this product, it does practically nothing its supposed to.
