A T2 external thread is found on numerous photographic accessories used in astrophotography. Whether rings, projection adapters or an off-axis guider - thanks to the T2 adapter, the possibilities are almost unlimited.
The ring is so thin that it does not significantly lengthen the telescope. This is particularly useful as your accessories have more space. There is even room for a field-flattener or other corrector.
