Product description

The Omegon 10x50 W are classic Porro binoculars with an excellent optical performance and precision engineering.

No task great or small is beyond their scope; these are genuine universal binoculars. Whether for making observations in the mountains, at sea or on bird watching trips, they are extremely versatile. They are also a pleasure to use stargazing or following the Milky Way.

Thanks to its design, the Omegon 10x50 W provides particularly tangible images. The binoculars create accurate, high-resolution images. The multicoating on the optical surfaces creates a high degree of contrast. The eye distance of 12.7 mm assures the user of comfortable viewing as it enables the user to obtain an overview of the large field of vision. In addition, the rubber eye caps can be folded in at any time. The easy-action centre focusing system can focus the binoculars in seconds and the all-round protective rubber coating gives a secure hold.

These binoculars make a suitable companion for any occasion, due to their simplicity of operation and their very low weight.

The features in brief:
- high light intensity due to 50-mm objective aperture
- large field of vision of 114 metres at range of 1000 metres
- BK-7 prisms
- multicoating
- eye distance of 12.7 mm
- folding rubber eye cups
- soft carrying case and shoulder strap included
- can be connected to a 1/4“ stand adapter

Our expert comment:

The connection for the tripod adapter is under the cover cap on the end of focus wheel axis. There are two types of tripod adapter: simple Binocular tripod adapter and the better, as it is more rigid Metal binocular tripod adapter.

Customer reviews

A nice supplement for your telescope / start to astronomy.

( 4 / 5 )

So I got these binos as a supplement for my 8 inch dobsonian. Unless you have arms made of titanium and ultra sturdy, the view will be jittery as this is a reasonably heavy bino and quite high magnification. If I had to chose again I would get a 7 or max 8x magnification. Thje binos can also be used in daytime and offers some pleasing views. The quality is good for the price (the image stabilisation binos are SO expensive), and I can find multiple uses for these binos (excursions, astronomy etc.)
Alternatively a stand would be a good way to really enjoy these binos.
