You can nature-watch too with your astronomical telescope
Your telescope has been constructed for astronomical observing - meaning, typically, you will see an upside down image. But what if you want to nature-watch too? This Omegon Amici prism lets you turn your astronomical instrument into a nature-watching telescope.
The advantages in a nutshell
- Amici prism, suitable even for beginners - simply insert into focuser to enjoy an upright image
- suitable for all 1.25" eyepieces
- observe comfortably at a 90° viewing angle - comfortable use of the eyepiece from above
- 89% reflection for a bright image
Turn your telescope into an instrument for nature-watching.
This is a simplicity itself - simply insert the Amici prism into the 1.25" focuser to enjoy an upright and non-reversed image using your normal eyepieces - watch birds, deer at the edge of the forest, a cross on a mountain's summit or a cruise ship far out at sea. Nature looks just as beautiful through the Amici prism as binoculars, but you can also 'zoom in' using much higher magnifications with your eyepieces.
An ideal image for every entry-level telescope
The Amici prism provides you with a bright and clear image. And you can use any 1.25" eyepiece that you wish. The prism is made of genuine, optically processed BK7 glass.
The barrels are made of metal - ensuring a tight fit and a long life. An aluminium clamping screw is used for clamping the eyepiece. So you could even look through your telescope from one side - the eyepiece will safely stay put and not fall out. From now on, nature is lying at your feet - even if it's far away!
