Omegon Pro CLS Filter - The all-rounder for improving nebulae observing
Would you like to be able to see nebulae better? Even in smaller telescopes? Then the Omegon pro CLS filter is the right choice for you. It blocks the wavelengths from artificial light sources and thus increases the contrast between astronomical objects and a light polluted sky. It also lets through more light than many other filters. Objects appear clear and bright, even in smaller telescopes with a 70mm aperture, and the contrast is increased enormously. The CLS filter is extremely useful for astrophotography too. It allows you to successfully image deep sky objects, even in light-polluted cities.
The advantages in a nutshell
- wide-band nebula filter - suitable even for small telescopes
- very little darkening of the object noticeable through the eyepiece
- 1.25" thread - fits into virtually any 1.25" eyepiece
- allows successful astrophotography from within cities
See more -for telescopes from 70mm in aperture
These filters allow more light through than many others. Objects appear clear and bright, even in smaller telescopes down to 70mm in diameter - but the contrast is increased enormously. This filter conjures your favourite object into existence directly in front of your eyes!
Better photos from within cities
The CLS filter is also a real plus when used for astrophotography. It allows successful deep sky photography even from within light-polluted cities.
How does it achieve that?
The secret behind this filter is interference technology. Countless thin layers ensure that only certain wavelengths of light pass through the filter - as not all wavelengths of light are useful when observing nebulae. Less is definitely more here - more from the nebula.
