Omegon 2" Crayford focuser - for precise focusing of astronomical objects
The Omgeon advanced 2" focuser provides your Omegon advanced telescope with precision, backlash-free focusing - letting you sharply focus, even at high magnifications.
Perhaps you already know the problem of objects 'jumping in and out of focus' in your focuser at high magnification due to it having too much play, which is an annoying problem with inferior focusers. This Crayford focuser will always deliver a rock steady image.
For 2" and 1.25" eyepieces
The focuser accepts both the larger (2") and the smaller (1.25") eyepieces. This gives you an advantage over simple 1.25" focusers - you can use the wider field of view provided by 2" eyepieces to enjoy more comfortably observing deep sky objects. You can use the built-in 1.25" reducer for using 1.25" eyepieces. The focuser has a single compression ring for holding both sizes of eyepiece - your eyepieces are clamped around their entire diameters and are hence always well protected.
Easy to fit onto the advanced telescope
An Omegon advanced focuser can be attached to your Omegon advanced telescope in just a few minutes. The telescope itself comes supplied with the appropriate adapter. Simply slide the base of your focuser into the adapter and lock it in place with the two Allen grub-screws. It is now securely attached and is ready to be used for observing.
Astrophotography - Find the point of focusing more easily
If you are eager to take astrophotos, then this Crayford focuser makes it more easy to focus your camera. An optional T-2 adapter (from our product range) fits out your focuser perfectly for astrophotography. Simply screw it in, and everything is then ready for your SLR camera.
