Small motorised mount that can be controlled with a smartphone app.
The light and very compact AZ-GTI altazimuth mount takes optics weighing up to five kilogrammes.
The mount generates its own Wi-Fi signal, over which it can be controlled using a smartphone or tablet. To do this, you need to install the Skywatcher SynScan app. It is available free of charge for Android and iOS.
Thanks to the app and the built-in motors, celestial objects can be located and held steady in the eyepiece. The app has other useful features, such as the identification of celestial objects.
