The Oxion series has been designed with all kind of Life Sciences applications and great durability in mind. Specific attention to production methods resulted also in an excellent price/performance ratio.

The Oxion series of microscopes are the professionals’ choice for life science applications, laboratories, universities or research centres, but are also suitable for routine medical applications and veterinary medicine. Besides bright-field contrast method, configurations with dark-field contrast or simple polarization can also be used. Thanks to the high-resolution optics and state-of-the-art components, these microscopes can be used for a variety of applications from routine to research applications.

EYEPIECES • HWF eyepieces 10x/22mm with ± 5 ° dioptre adjustment on both eyepieces • All eyepieces can be secured with an Allen screw

HEAD • Binocular and trinocular Siedentopf heads with 30° inclined tubes • Inter pupillary distance from 50 to 75mm • A unique rotation system allows the ergonomic positioning of both tubes in an upper (431mm) and lower (397mm) position • The multi-head systems are available with 2, 3, or 5 heads • Height-adjustable ergonomic head available (height adjustment between 397 and 431mm)

STAGE • Designed for 2 slides • 50x140mm stage with integrated 76x50mm XY stage • A ceramic stage is also available on request • The Oxion can be supplied with a heated stage with PID temperature controller adjustable to 50 degrees Celsius (only available for new microscopes)

CONDENSER FOR BRIGHT FIELD • Height-adjustable N.A. 1.25 Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm • Slider with a simple dark field stop for dark field up to 400x magnification available

FOCUSING • Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment 200 μm fine adjustment, 2 μm accuracy, 200μm per revolution, total travel approx. 28mm • Stop to prevent damage to objective and specimen • Friction adjustment

ILLUMINATION FOR BRIGHT FIELD • NeoLED • All models are supplied with 3W adjustable NeoLED™ illumination with integrated 100-240 V power supply. • Köhler illumination with field diaphragm
